Villa Description

An ornamented wooden gate leads through a garden and the living room set in the center of one level building of the villa. The spacious living area embraces an uninterrupted view of the greenery and the private pool set in the middle of the garden. The living area include on the left side dinning and kitchen, meanwhile the service and staff area are located discreetly in adjacent to the kitchen. Further to the left side is a media room equipped with LCD TV, comfortably set with a guest lavatory.

The master bedroom is set secluded in adjacent to the media room overlooking to the garden with a spacious en suited bathrooms and walking closet. Meanwhile another three bedrooms are located on the right side of the living room each with en suite bathroom and view to the garden. Location

Villa Mana is hidden away in the traditional village of Babakan, just ten minutes’ drive from the beach at Canggu on Bali’s southwest coast. Villa Indah Manis (1,4 Bedroom)

Villa Indah Manis is a peaceful 4-bedroom retreat that can sleep up to 16 guests. Complete with two swimming pools and a spa, it is operated along the lines of an intimate boutique hotel, and rests in a spectacular location upon ’The Bukit’ – Bali’s southern peninsula. The property incorporates a completely self-contained 1-bedroom Honeymoon Suite with private pool, which can be rented independently.

Surrounded by forest and rural scenes, Villa Indah Manis commands breathtaking views spanning the Indian Ocean and the southernmost tip of the island all the way up the west coast past Jimbaran, the airport, Kuta and Canggu, and inland to Bedugul. On a clear day, the awesome vista takes in Mt Batu Karu together with the volcanoes of East Java. This beautiful area boasts some of the most idyllic beaches in Bali, including Balangan, Dreamland, Bingin and Padang Padang. These hidden, white sandy coves are great for both surfers and non-surfers alike.

Designed to maximise the views and catch the cool breezes even at the hottest time of year, the property offers a blend of air-conditioned comfort and tropical open-air living. It is composed of a series of pavilions, with a dramatic 14-metre lap pool, complemented by a flat green lawn, terraces ornamental ponds and water features. All of the bedrooms are equipped with safe deposit boxes and hairdryers, and additional TVs can be provided upon request.

The property is built to be functional, designed around weddings, parties and celebrations. A full service kitchen provides the facilities to cater for up to eighty guests, all of whom can be seated on the terrace. The main garden can accommodate the same number for a Champagne reception, and the open-air bar is also a suitable area for stand-up cocktails. The pool can be covered with a temporary platform to create a dance floor or a stage for a live band. The terrace and lawns are also perfect for dance performances, and barbeques, which are a specialty of the villa. The modern Balinese architecture makes use of local materials, such as white Palimanan stone, teakwood and sandwash, together with ’sirap’ ironwood shingle for the roofs.

Living & Dining Pavilion

Approached via a wide paved driveway, guests enter the property to find a pathway lit by lanterns and lined with palm trees. The 13 x 6 metre Living & Dining Pavilion is the focal point and social hub of Villa Indah Manis, boasting a graceful shingle roof unobstructed by pillars, therefore giving it the appearance of a floating structure. Open on four sides with sliding glass doors at the front, which can be closed for protection against the elements, the pavilion is flanked by a lotus pond and serenaded by the mellow sound of water bubbling over ornamental urns. A stepping stone bridge marks the entrance, and the soaring roof is lined with bamboo. The pavilion is furnished with a modern dining table that can comfortably seat fourteen. The custom-made furnishings and accessories include three deeply-cushioned sofas, lazy chairs, sideboards, coffee tables, two impressive wrought iron chandeliers, ceiling fans and candelabra.

Bar

A stand-alone teakwood Bar rests at the edge of the pool terrace to one side of the Living & Dining Pavilion. This square Bar is characterised by an ’alang alang’ thatched roof and furnished with ten high chairs. The slatted wooden sides have been cleverly designed to hide some discreet lighting, which means that the bar dramatically lights up at night.

Pool & Garden

The 14 x 4 metre, infinity-edge lap pool is lined with green Java stone, and appears to overflow into the forest below. At the far end, it is sensationally suspended eight metres above the ground and the water is 1.4 metres in depth. There is a 60-centimetre shallow end for kids, and this part of the pool is also very pleasant for sitting in. The terrazzo pool deck is furnished with stylish, high quality, lightweight metal sunloungers and Chinese-style sun parasols. Mini parasols are also to be found throughout the property for the use of guests. There are numerous relaxation areas, strategically positioned in the shade, so that guests will always find a private spot for peace and quiet.

The garden is planted with frangipani and flowering shrubs, and adorned with pots of bougainvillea and a carved frieze depicting characters from The Ramayana.

Maharajah Room & Games Area

Two sets of steps lead down to a lower level, below the garden and swimming pool. This area houses a cosy snug known as The Maharajah Room. Decorated in rich reds and complemented by a comfortable built-in L-shaped sofa, silk cushions and framed textiles, the room is equipped with a TV, DVD and surround sound speakers. There is also a library of over 150 DVDs, a refrigerator, and an additional dining table for casual dining. Immediately outside is a special sandy area allocated for Pétanque – a game similar to boules. Unique Pétanque packages are a specialty of Villa Indah Manis. Additionally, kids, teenagers and adults will enjoy the games room complete with pool table located immediately underneath the swimming pool. A daybed is positioned beside the pool table, and there is also a dartboard.

Studio

Located to one side of the Maharajah Room is a study with a desk and Internet access. There is also a wine cellar, regulated at European cave temperature.

Fitness Room

The Fitness Room, located between the Studio and the Spa, is equipped with a running machine, an exercise bike, a stepper, a rowing machine, light weights and wall mirrors.

Spa

The spa is positioned on the same level, on the far side of the games room. Here guests can enjoy beautiful views and blissful spa treatments including a complimentary massage on arrival. Flanked by sweet-scented frangipani trees, the spa boasts an open-sided, thatched massage pavilion, known as a ’bale’, in addition to a Jacuzzi, a washroom and a fabulous bathtub for rose petal baths. The spa is equipped with a massage bed, and a chair and washbasin designed for the Indonesian ’creambath’ – a special treatment for the hair that includes a conditioning scalp massage and moisturising hair crème together with a relaxing neck and shoulder massage.

Kitchen

The semi open-air service kitchen is fully equipped with everything that the chef needs in order to prepare complimentary breakfasts and delicious meals selected ’restaurant style’ from an enticing a la carte menu. Located behind the living and dining pavilion, with colourful tiles and wooden wall panels that can be closed or open, it is fitted with gleaming appliances, black marble worktops, and a large oven with a gas hob. This impressive kitchen is also a professional facility for outside caterers to prepare lavish feasts for weddings, parties and special functions. Additionally, it is the venue for Balinese cooking classes for the guests.

Kamboja Bedroom

The Kamboja Bedroom is accessed by double Balinese doors. It features a marble floor under a soaring roof, and displays a bold use of colour. Air-conditioned, with the additional provision of a ceiling fan, it is attractively furnished with a king-size bed canopied with diaphanous drapes. There is also a TV and plenty of storage cupboards.

The en-suite bathroom is a stunning example of the romantic Bali style, an open-air bathroom dominated by a sparkling, terrazzo, circular bathtub, where guests can soak under an open sky and enjoy wonderful views of the ocean in complete privacy. It is particularly lovely at night. The air-conditioned indoor section of the bathroom is comprised of creamy white Palimanan stone walls and a marble floor, complemented by a Balinese statue and a terrazzo vanity unit topped with a sculptured washbasin. Glass bricks channel an abundance of natural light, and the toilet is hidden within an alcove.

Jempiring Bedroom

Heralded by an ornamental pond and an ornately carved Palimanan stone frieze, the Jempiring Bedroom also features a marble floor under a soaring roof. It is air-conditioned, with the additional provision of a ceiling fan, and furnished with a king size bed. The en-suite garden bathroom is surrounded by walls; a striking feature is the glassless window, which frames a Balinese statue, and looks stunning at night. The Palimanan stone-walled bathroom is fitted with twin washbasins, a rainshower and a toilet tucked away in an alcove.

Alamanda Bedroom & Melati Room

The Melati Room is designed for kids, and can sleep up to six on twin beds and pull-out sofas with ’Slumberland’ mattresses. This room can be rented solely, or together with the adjoining Alamanda Bedroom, which is furnished with a king-size bed. The Melati Room can also be used as a sitting room to complement the Alamanda Room. Both rooms are air-conditioned as well as being fitted with ceiling fans.

The adjoining open-air bathroom serves both the Melati and Alamanda Rooms, with separate doors leading into each room. It features twin washbasins in sculpted terrazzo, a glassless window showcasing a Balinese statue, orange cupboards, a rainshower, and an alcoved toilet.

Cempaka Bedroom

The Cempaka Bedroom is located on an upper level, and accessed by an external flight of Palimanan stone steps. The adjoining wooden deck offers more eye-popping views, and is furnished with a daybed and a low opium table.

The air-conditioned bedroom is distinguished by a soaring roof and a coffee-coloured marble floor. It is furnished with a king-size opium bed, equipped with a ceiling fan, and it features a dressing area behind the bed.

The en-suite bathroom, also located upstairs, is characterised by slatted walls that allow the cool breezes to permeate. Blinds can be dropped at night for privacy. There is a rainshower, a washbasin, a large wall mirror and an alcoved toilet.

The air-conditioned bedroom, complete with ceiling fan, is accessed by sliding glass doors on two sides. The room is exquisitely decorated and furnished, and the enticing king-size bed is canopied in dreamy diaphanous drapes.

The en-suite sumptuous bathroom appears to float upon a moat; this open-air pavilion is supported by pillars and characterised by a splendid Palimanan stone bathtub big enough for two, together with a rainshower, and a floating vanity unit with a sculptured terrazzo washbasin, plus a toilet. A gold Buddha statue rests in an alcove, ceiling fans keep this area cool, and blinds can be dropped for absolute privacy.

The pretty garden boasts a thatched ’bale’ relaxation pavilion, which is cushioned with a large covered mattress. It faces the sunset and presides over the 6 x 4 metre private swimming pool. The sea view is delightful both from here and also from the raised living area. The pool deck is furnished with sunloungers and a sun umbrella, and there is also a circular dining table together with chairs, positioned outside.

Located less that half an hours drive from Bali’s International Airport, and only ten minutes from the restaurant and nightlife center of Seminyak and Legian, Villa Banyan is a newly renovated magnificent property.

Within the estate itself, following a compound style that is very common in Bali, are six individual structures. Starting from the main entrance after the parking lot, staff and security quarters, the main house is adjacent to the large sundeck which holds the swimming pool, next is the guest house, the gym, and two outdoor bales (traditional Balinese gazebos). A staff of sixteen is on hand to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. There is a safe located on the property with which to safeguard guest’s valuables.

The first thing guests will notice upon entering Banyan Estate is the impressive “Banyan Tree” positioned in the middle of the complex that towers above the dining bale that features an wooden antique round table and six chairs.

To the west lies a small lawn, scattered with tropical flowers and strands of young bamboo. The property is roughly triangular shaped, bordered on two sides by high walls and on the longest side by a small river.

Owing to its large size and detached structures, there are many separate and distinct areas where guests can congregate in large numbers or break up into smaller groups depending on how the mood strikes them, making it eminently suitable for hosting large groups of people and entertaining.

The main house is made up of two floors with a large wrap around deck on the second floor, topped by a alang-alang (thatched) roof. At one end of the main floor is the dining room with its stately sixteen-seat wooden table that was custom made for the villa.

Separated by a wide counter, complete with bar stools, is a large open plan western style kitchen, fully furnished with western facilities and amenities. At the other end of the main floor is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

All these rooms look out onto the large white sandstone sundeck complete with six spacious deckchairs, that hosts a large blue tiled 12m kidney shaped swimming pool, and a smaller one adjacent to the other, containing built-in seats suitable for lounging.

Next is the stairs leading to the second floor. Upstairs, we find three bedrooms and the balconies. At one end is the master bedroom with its own marble tiled en-suite and large walk-in closet. The bedroom opens onto a large wrap-around deck that overlooks the estate.

At the other end of this floor are the other two bedrooms. Both these rooms share a communal bathroom and one of the rooms has access to its own private balcony. Separated from the main house and the pool by approximately fifteen meters is the guesthouse. It sits beside the river with a small wooden deck, table and chairs and has an alang-alang roof similar to the main house. Contained within are two large bedrooms, each with its own en-suite Bali style (open-air) bathroom.

The gym lies behind the guesthouse, next to the river, in its own small building, again with an alang-alang roof. The front has a wooden deck overlooking the river. Inside is a large multifunction machine for weightlifting, along with gym mats and space for other exercise pursuits.

All the buildings are painted in warm earthy colors set off by the white deck, green grass, thatched roofs, and the green ivy flowing down from the second floor of the main house producing a very Mediterranean feel.

Terrazzo has been used for the all the floors, leaving them cool to the feet in the tropical heat of Bali. Ceiling fans provide extra ventilation in all living areas throughout the property, and all the bedrooms have air conditioning. Antiques and Balinese statuary are displayed in the house and grounds of the estate.

In front and off to one side of the main house is the outdoor dining bale. Between the guesthouse and the main house is the Massage bale. A semi covered pavilion that contains day beds and cushions, providing a perfect setting with which to enjoy the scenery or an afternoon massage.

Banyan Estate represents an interesting mix of Balinese and Western architectural features, offering a compound that fits into the surrounding rice fields and tropical flora, while sacrificing none of the modern day comforts.

The Banyan Estate is fully serviced by A Western house manager. Oversees and coordinates the staff and property and is available to assist and liaise with guests during their stay. 2 full-time cooks Trained in both local and international cuisine. Villa Dasarata is situated in Candi Dasa. Candi Dasa lays on the South East Coast of Bali at approximately 60 km from Denpasar. It is a nice, small, cosy and quiet tourist village far away from the hectic Kuta and Sanur areas. The beaches are white and there is a splendid coral reef for diving and snorkeling. Lots of small shops, bars, restaurants and some international hotels guarantee the necessary entertainment.

The site lays at appr. 200 m from the village and direct on the sea shore. The property for rent is part of a small residential development of 5 houses. This complex has a total surface of 5.500 m2 and is by a wall fully separated from the surroundings. Access to the village is by private lane and Balinese gate (Angkul-angkul). The complex has its own water supply by natural well and electricity supply by PLN (National Indonesian Electricity Company) with own back-up genset in case of power fall. The complex has European management and professionally trained Balinese staff.

For long term rental periods special price agreements can be discussed. The rent is exclusive costs of electricity (for the villa appr. € 30, for the studio € 10 and the bungalow € 20 per 14 days). A cook for daily dinner can be hired for appr. € 65 for 14 days. This person also takes care of the shopping for dinner.

General Description

Living and Dining

There are three levels of living space at Villa Zolima:

The major and more dramatic living room offers a panoramic view of the valley. Open at all sides to the natural world, with day beds, ottomans and cushions for relaxing gatherings. A few steps below, the smaller covered living room is a snug place for more intimate conversations. Finally, the library, protected by walls and with floor-to-ceiling windows, provides a homier enclosed environment with large comfortable sofas and cushions.

Modern Luxury

This luxury six bedroom property has been created with meticulous attention to detail and can comfortably accommodate the needs of up to 12 adult guests. Access into the villa is via a paved laneway set back from the street to ensure complete privacy. An unimposing entrance gate opens up to reveal a spacious garden environment with a waterway running the entire length. Towering palms and indigenous flora have been planted randomly and are surrounded by manicured lawn. Villa Surya Damai is a 5-bedroom villa situated on the edge of the quaint village of Umalas, where the famous riding stables are located. The property boasts 60 meters of palm-fringed river frontage and fantastic rice-field views, and it is only a 15 minute walk across the rice paddies to the gorgeous Batu Belig beach. This is where some of Bali’s most well-known beachside restaurants are located. The property is also just a few minutes drive to the fashionable area of Seminyak, which consists of small boutiques, antique shops, and some of the highest-quality delicatessen shops and bakeries in Bali

Villa Surya Damai has been designed such that views of the stunning surroundings can be enjoyed from every room, and the entire villa is decorated with the highest quality furnishings available. The structure is laid out around a central living area for all to enjoy, with sufficient additional living spaces to allow privacy whenever needed. The property is designed around a traditional Balinese-style open-sided living room that leads to a large pool deck upon which rest 6 sun-loungers and umbrellas to suit. At the beach, you will enjoy long walks, during which you might encounter the sampis (cows), fisherman or young people enjoying surf, but you will rarely meet with the tourist.

Villa Ba Jabula stands 25 meters above sea level and surrounded by rice fields where you be the witness of amazing sun sets from the south-western bay of the island. This very spacious and luxurious Master Suite Bedroom is located in one single, one storey pavilion with very high ceilings. It has a king-sized bed where you fall asleep like a rose and dream away. There is a very spacious dressing area, a wide terrazzo rain shower, an open-air bath surrounded with lotus ponds and a separate toilet. You can also find a beautiful wooden desk with a computer, fantastic contemporary art at the walls and a great lounging seat overlooking the green infinity views.

There is a very spacious pavilion located more towards the river which houses two different luxurious Bedrooms. Both are very similar bedrooms and have king-sized beds with en-suite bathrooms. There are high ceilings and whitewashed wooden floorings. The bathrooms have dressings, spacious rain showers, open-air baths set in beautiful private gardens with little lotus ponds and each a separate toilet.

The open-air bathroom has beautiful whitewashed wooden floorings and contains a shower, a terrazzo build in open-air bath and a separate toilet. You find great contemporary art and a relaxing lounge area in this superb luxurious room.
Luxurious Duplex Bedroom: this luxurious Bedroom has a king-sized bed positioned closer to the high ceiling overlooking the living area downstairs. This living area can also be transformed into a place where your children can sleep if necessary so you can have some privacy upstairs while supervising the children downstairs. Downstairs is a living area with a great lounging sofa and build in closets. The wooden pavilion at the meditative river houses this romantic and charming bedroom. It is perfect for couples or younger people enjoying Bali’s beauty. It has a king-sized bed with a shower and separate toilet. The size of this bedroom is smaller than the other larger bedrooms but has a unique atmosphere.

Bedroom 8

This very spacious luxurious bedroom is nestled into the bigger pavilion which houses the dining room and the kitchen. The purpose of this room is to be multifunctional. Guests or children can stay here to enjoy splendid time at Villa Infinity Bali. Bedroom 8 has a little private garden, a bathroom with rain shower and a separate toilet.

Dining Room

The dining room is located in a sheltered and very spacious open-air pavilion offering the most stunning green infinity views over Bali’s beauty. It has a funky bar and is directly connected to the very large and professional kitchen which can cater for all tastes. The antique dining table can easily have 12 people eating in comfort. There is more furniture available to cater for larger groups and the staff will not hesitate to organize the facilities in the same but bigger way. The dining room is separated by beautiful Balinese lotus ponds from the living room in the central pavilion.

Living Room

The main pavilion overlooking the rice terraces is a very spacious and covered pavilion open on all sides. It has an enormous lounging sofa and fantastic contemporary art. Constructed in traditional Balinese style this living room makes you relax and lounge. Drink a cocktail here and enjoy the spectacular, unobstructed infinity views over Bali. In front of this main pavilion you can also see Villa Infinity Bali’s 40 meter excelling pool. The present music sound installation offers a finishing touch. The living room is connected to the Master Suite Bedroom and the dining room by bridges over the beautiful Balinese lotus ponds.

Media Room

In between the Master Suite Bedroom and the two Luxurious Bedrooms situated closer to the river there is a fantastic air conditioned media room with cinema, lounge, pool table and games. So if you want to work on your computer while it feels to hot outside, watch a movie on a big screen with surround sound effects, have a drink and lounge or play a game of pool or other kind of games: this is the place to be. Bale

Villa Infinity Bali caters for children of all ages. There are sleeping cots available as well as high chairs and pool safety toys.

The media room has DVDs for children and CDs and books for entertainment. A lot of children television programs can also be accessed on the satellite television.
